John Wick 4: Continental Osaka Hotel Scene Rendered
I am big fan of "John Wick" movies, I recently watched the 4th movie ending the franchise. There was this scene where it took in Continental Osaka, the theme design was in mixture of traditional and modern Japanese elements represented by the main color "red".
I was fascinated by the place and searched it, it turns out it was filmed at the National Art Center in Tokyo. Opened in 2007 in a former University of Tokyo research facility, this is one of Japan's largest art exhibition spaces!
You can see the difference in what can light can do to the design and the building in the last photo showing the difference between the original museum in daylight and the hotel in the film at night. Out of excitement I decided to replicate my favorite scenes using Lumion.
